Learn the Racing Rules of Sailing

This is the first in a series of posts to introduce and explain the Racing Rules of Sailing. Each Monday a new section will be added to introduce you to a new rule or rules. Each post will have a video explanation, a written fact sheet and then a quiz to check your knowledge.

To help you with learning the Rules make sure that you have a full copy of the Racing Rules of Sailing book available. This can be downloaded through the World Sailing App, from the World Sailing Website or purchased from the RYA Shop.

We start this week with understanding the Definitions within the Racing Rules which are the fundamental concepts used throughout the rules.
